Surprised to see me back again? Well, yes, I went to an anime/manga camp 2 weeks ago, and have been there for 7 days, without any phone signal or stable Internet connection. I was able to do things for the first time, and it was so much fun that I barely slept for that period. I would be lying if I said that I have recovered my sleep by now, but I guess I’m well enough to be able to concentrate on posting again. So I was asking myself – what should I talk about? While browsing the trailer community I used a while back, I found some interesting movies I wish to share.
Each and every time I had something to say about anything on this blog, I have done my best to remain “professional” throughout the entire post – an attempt which, obviously, failed. This time, given the level of excitement the news I’m about to share have brought me at, my attempts to become a good reviewer will also fail, so let me tell you something: because of them, I’m quite literally in seventh heaven by now. Nothing can bring me down~!

Love and dreams are miraculous. They don’t need to be heard, to be said, or translated.
This movie, starring artist Eddie Peng and actress Ivy Chen, is a hidden gem I stumbled upon on a site. I had become interested in Eddie Peng through a scene from My So Called Love, in which he played a character confused by his attraction for another man so intensely and realistically (“the only good point about this otherwise mediocre film”, as a critic put it) that I had to see more. Upon searching for movies in which he starred, I found Hear Me and I couldn’t stop watching it until it ended.
Due to certain reasons, I had lost my incentive to update this blog, but I fortunately regained my excitement without a problem. This may be due to my summer vacation, which gave me the time and opportunity to watch new anime series and rewatch some of my older favorites, so at the present I am filled with the will to share with you some of the gems I have managed to discover so far. I hope you will enjoy my subjective reviews of these, and I hope it will be useful for those who do not know about anime/manga as much.
Some time ago, I discovered a new Korean boyband, Children of Empire (ZE:A). At first, I didn’t think much of them, really: their debut song wasn’t complicated or anything, and I almost ignored them. But then, I couldn’t stop listening to it – the music was catchy, and the lyrics, though hardly intelligible, sounded fun (I had it on repeat for 2 days!). I ended up joining their international fan forum, and honestly, I keep loving them more and more. What is it that catches my heart and doesn’t let it go?
First, here is a video (in two parts) created by kiweee92 (who obviously has a Siwan-bias – keep it up!♥♥♥) on youtube: part 1 and part 2. It contains the pictures and profiles of each ZE:A member, and I think it will help both the fans, and those who don’t know them yet.
Secondly, I have to say that I like each member respectively (although I have a soft spot for KwangHee), each for different reasons and on different levels. All I am going to do in this post is say it, and hopefully “cheat” the readers into loving ZE:A, as well. Whether I will be successful or not, only time will tell.
I found out about them in quite a…normal, for lack of a better word, way (it wasn’t “destiny” or anything, although that would have been quite nice xD). I downloaded it from a blog I visit quite frequently, and I did it while being quite skeptical, as I really didn’t know them at all. Well, all I can say now is: thank goodness I gave them a chance! I have been listening to their debut song over and over again these past two days, and I can’t seem to get enough of it! Now, I keep searching the Internet for videos with them on variety shows, interviews, documentaries and such, and I will soon start browsing for fanfiction. Yay!!
Hey! Long time, no see! I know I’ve haven’t posted in a long time, but…oh well! xD This time, the theme of this post is “favourite anime/manga quotes”, for I love to write the quotes (of any kind) I like. I even have a notebook to write them in! I love the quotes that I find in anime/manga as well, especially those in CLAMP’s manga, as they mention some of the subjects I love in particular. To cut a long story short, these are my all-time favourites!

I have (strangely) been in an Arashi mood lately (which is already a few months old…Raluca, this is only your fault, and you know it! >.< I blame you!), and I actually downloaded a whole album. I would have never thought of doing that a few weeks before (as I never actually liked Arashi), but here I am, listening to an entire playlist filled with Arashi songs day after day. You would think I would get tired by now, it seems like it’s not the case…*grin*
This is a meme I took from starsandpumpkin.blogspot.com, and since it had to do with JE bands, to keep up the spirit for a while longer, I decided to post it here, and not on my livejournal account (I need to fill that one with something, too, right?). I had fun while doing this one, so I hope you’ll have fun reading/doing it, as well!
I am a NEWS/Kanjani8 fan, to tell you the truth – which means that I absolutely love Nishikido Ryo, as well. I love this guy’s shy personality, even though he seems like a person full of confidence. He has a pretty nice voice (I’m not very fond of it, though – I like deeper ones, those that make my heart vibrate), has a nice body, and, I have to say this, he is very, VERY sexy (in his own way). Of course, he has plenty of acting ability – and if you watch Ryusei no Kizuna, Orthros no Inu or Last friends, you will surely reach the same conclusion as me. Of course, my opinion is one based on only his acting in Orthros no Inu, because I didn’t dare to watch the other two – I have my own reasons.
